What can you do to help prevent Alzheimer’s disease?
Again like with most degenerative diseases diet plays a critical role in preventing, stopping and curing disease! Nutrition can help you overcome the effects of Alzheimer’s, especially if you make the changes early in life!
Dietary considerations are:
Follow a low carb diet like the Atkins diet. Include foods like oily fish (wild salmon), brown rice, wheat germ and molasses.
Drink enough pure water per day. Take vitamins, minerals and nutritional supplements that enhance memory, feed and protect your brain, low-dose lithium has been found to have tremendous regenerating qualities for the brain.

Studies have found that higher than normal levels of mercury is present in the brains of people with Alzheimer’s disease.
Mercury exposure which occurs mainly through dental work should not be overlooked, consider removing silver amalgam dental fillings.
Also drink only pure water, fluoridated water increases absorbtion of aluminum into the body from deodorants, pots and pans, dandruff shampoo, anti-acids, buffered aspirin and fast foods.
Like heart disease modern medicine has no cure for Alzheimer’s and your most effective course of action is and remains a low carb diet and vitamin, mineral supplementation.
