Rheumatoid arthritis involves inflammation, pain and stiffness of the lining of the joints in your body which can result in redness and swelling in most cases. Although different from osteoarthritis a number of the natural remedies overlap.

The severity of the disease varies from person to person with cases ranging from minor pain to severe joint damage and deformity. Rheumatoid arthritis can also attack other parts of the body, resulting in general disability, heart disease, anemia, lung disease and nerve damage. This condition is considered and autoimmune disease because it appears that the immune system goes haywire and actually it’s own body tissue.

Rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory disease caused mostly by our eating habits which causes the vital function of our inflammatory system of protecting the body, to malfunction and in fact turn on us and creating havoc with our health.

The good news is that the condition can be alleviated by correcting our diet, exercise and proper weight management. If you’ve been reading the information provided on this site you’ll notice that most of these degenerative diseased are caused by our modern lifestyle, the proof is in the fact that many of these killer diseases we suffer from are not present in third world countries where they eat diets much closer to the earth and our ancestors.

Follow this health regime for natural rheumatoid arthritis pain relief -

*** Get a through test for food allergies and eliminate the culprits from your diet
*** Have your stomach function checked out and act accordingly
*** Have your DHEA levels tested by a health professional and supplement if necessary
*** 1 Table spoon of cod liver oil twice daily with 200mg of EPA to restore your inflammatory balance
*** 400 I.U. of vitamin E twice daily with your cod liver oil
*** 1000mg of Ginger three times a day
*** 30mg of Zinc three times a day
*** 2mg of Copper three times a day
*** 500mcg of Selenium daily
*** 1000mg of Niacinamide three time a day

If at all possible avoid the patent drugs, there are just too many negative side effects, I would recommend them only as a last resort.

A natural supplement that has most of the ingredients above is Joint Advance, we recommend you use it for your rheumatoid arthritis

When you can find a good combined supplement like this it alleviates the amount of supplements that you have to swallow at one time and if your anything like me you hate swallowing 100’s of pills.

This is a great article, but I’m wondering if when you said …”Rheumatoid Arthritis is an inflammatory disease caused mostly by our eating habits…” needs to be explored a bit more.

The digestive system is a vital role in combatting RA, but not the main cause. It has many causes including being hereditary.

I do agree with using natural remedies, diet, and exercise to minimize pain and damage. I myself have found it to be a vital part of keeping me RA under control.
