I had a parent with Alzheimer's and one with dementia - there is a huge difference. Obviously, anyone who makes it to 95 is going to suffer some loss of memory. My aunt who is 94, and whose sister had diagnosed Alzheimer's, has a memory as sharp as a tack. So, there's no way, in my opinion, of accurately predicting who will get what as they age. I do, however, agree with the advice of eating properly and taking care of ourselves. That's just good common sense which few of us, unfortunately, follow.
