Hi there.

ED is - Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the inability of a man to maintain a firm erection long enough to have sex. Although erectile dysfunction is more common in older men, this common problem can occur at any age.

Having trouble maintaining an erection from time to time isn’t necessarily a cause for concern. But if the problem is ongoing, it can cause stress and relationship problems and affect self-esteem.

Formerly called impotence, erectile dysfunction was once a taboo subject. It was considered a psychological issue or a natural consequence of growing older. These attitudes have changed in recent years.

It’s now known that erectile dysfunction is more often caused by physical problems than by psychological ones, and that many men have normal erections into their 80s.

There are a number of cause’s e.g. lower testosterone levels, depression, stress, performance anxiety, and guilt.

The best course of action is action - get some exercise, adjust your diet to improve your health, reduce your stressors and make use of supplements when needed.

Have You These Symptoms of Andropause (male menopause)?

Hi there,

I’m writing about andropause again today because it is a message that needs to be heard. When our testosterone levels start dropping because we’re growing older our bodies change and we need to change our lifestyle accordingly else the consequences can be severe.

If you’re over 40 and you’re experiencing all or some of the symptoms below you are in “male menopause”.

  • Fatigue
  • Slowed head hair growth
  • Increased ear hair
  • Loss of muscle mass
  • Frequent urination
  • Postural changes
  • Weight gain around the waist
  • Low sex drive
  • Depression
  • Lifestyle considerations - exersice is a vital part of male sexuality, improving frequency, satisfaction and performance. Stress management is vital for sexual health. Stress depletes your adreanal glands. Adrenal exhaustion in men is linked to depression and anxiety attacks.

For a complete guide on andropause and it’s side effect, treatments, etc. read my book “Congratulations You’re Forty Something”, you’ll be amazed how much we don’t know about our bodies and how much we can improve our health with small changes.

Tomorrow we’ll look into Adrenal exhaustion.

    Kind regards
