Depression has risen to epidemic proportions in the West.
More than 1,5 million people are being treated for it in the US alone, and more than 30 million people can expect to suffer from it at sometime in their lives.
Emotions plays an integral part in this debilitation condition, which leads to physical depletion. Women are more susceptible to depression than men, perhaps because women are more emotional or because there is a female hormone connection.
Underlying origins include - bottled-up anger, inward aggression, emotional loss and the inability to express grief. Further more some cases of depression can be the result of nutrient deficiencies cause by the use of certain prescription-drugs.
