Prevent Prostate Cancer - Prostate Health Tips!

Published by Frederick Konig under prostate health

That’s right “prevention” that foreign concept! You can prevent and maintain proper through a sensible eating habits.

Let’s face it what is your diet? It is the sum total of your eating HABITS!

Oooohh and habits are terrible things when they are bad because we are so easily imprisoned by our bad habits.

Do yourself a favor and listen to your mother’s advice for a change:

*** Eat all your vegetables - eating just 3 servings of vegetables a day can reduce your prostate cancer risk by as much as 45% especially vegetables like broccoli, brussels sprouts, sauerkraut, coleslaw and cabbage.

*** Two servings of tomato sauce a week lowers your risk of prostate cancer. When you cook tomatoes it breaks down the cell walls, allowing your body to absorb the important antioxidant lycopene from the tomato. Lycopene is a very beneficially antioxidant found in tomatoes and other fruit.

*** Eat lean meats and drink low fat milk - scientist believe that the saturated fats from meats and dairy is a contributing factor to cancer and more aggressive cancer.

*** Eat at least 2 portions of oily fish per week, like wild salmon (do not eat farmed salmon, it is actually very bad for you) and supplement with GLA.

Believe me there is a mounting body of evidence that we are murdering ourselves through our diets and lack of movement, don’t become and uninformed victim.
